Welcome to the another edition of our 'Meet the Team' blog series with Bryony Carrington. At ServicePoint Solutions, we champion a 'people-first' ethos, holding firm to the belief that it's our team members who truly define and distinguish us.
Going beyond the conventional, we are also proud to be a 'family-first' business. This familial spirit is evident, with our CEO's son and daughter, alongside their respective partners, playing pivotal roles within our ranks. Many of our team members are talented professionals with whom we've had the privilege of working with previously.
With a rich tapestry of backgrounds and deep expertise spanning Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Field Service Management, our team stands as a standard of excellence AND synergy.
Name: Bryony Carrington
Job Title: Salesforce Consultant
Tell us about your day-to-day role at ServicePoint Solutions
Usually the day will start with an internal stand up that is specific for the project we’re working on, to focus attention on what our priorities and goals for the day are and raise any issues or ask for help from the team if needed. Then it will be to work on building items and offer support to the Lead Consultants. I tend to be the person who will test the build items and try to make things as user friendly as possible.
What are your hopes and dreams for 2024?
To continue learning, I am working towards a Field Service Certification so I hope to gain more experience and put the knowledge to use to help our customers.
What’s it like to work with the ServicePoint Solutions team?
The team is great to work with, very supportive and helpful. There is a huge wealth of knowledge within the team and everyone will make the time to help with any problem solving or just if you need a different perspective. We also have a laugh together, which is important!
What makes ServicePoint Solutions stand out as a company/employer?
ServicePoint Solutions are very keen to see people grow professionally and have given me the time, encouragement and support to be able to learn and to further my career. They are the most honest and supportive company that I have worked for and I am grateful to be a part of the team.
What inspires or motivates you?
To try and be a little better each day - that might be to learn something new or to show kindness to someone, even if it's just something small.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Anything crafty - making jewellery, candles, doing embroidery, baking etc. I enjoy helping people - making meals (lasagna is probably the most requested) and I also volunteer at the local food bank. I love going to see live music and every weekend try to take the dog on a lake or coastal walk in North Wales.
Tell us a random fact about yourself
Never learnt to drive a car but I have flown a plane.
Do you have any hidden talents?
No hidden talents, if I'm good at something I let everyone know!
Favourites (and Why):
Film: Amelie - I love it because it’s set in Paris and the places remind me of the good times that I have spent there. The lead character is a little quirky but basically she just tries to do nice things for people and I think it’s a sweet, feel-good film.
Song: 'Sticks and Stones' by Jamie T because it makes you feel like you can take on the world.
Animal: Panda - super clumsy and just too cute, I could watch videos of them playing for hours!
Place: The Apollo in Manchester because I have so many great memories of watching my favourite bands play there.
Food: This changes constantly but currently it’s a pastel de nata - I haven’t been to Portugal yet but I am hoping to go soon, mostly for the pastries.
Salesforce Character: Probably Astro, they’re the one helping you get started on Trailhead and also the soft toys are cute.
